Kids' Club at Vidalia First Assembly

A safe place for kids to experience God’s love and build their lives on the truth of His Word.

Our desire is to partner with families as children learn to love God fully — heart, soul, mind, and strength. Recognizing that parents are the primary spiritual influence in a child’s life, we intentionally design every ministry opportunity around our seven core values: safety, trust, leadership development, gospel-centered teaching, small group connection, church involvement, and equipping parents to disciple their children at home.

We help you, Help Them!

We help the next generation experience life-change through Christ. Each week, we strive to make learning about God fun and impactful through engaging games, interactive Bible lessons, and creative crafts.

First Time With Us?

We understand that entrusting your children to the care of others can be a big decision, which is why we take great care to ensure the safety and well-being of every child who attends Kids' Zone. All of our volunteers undergo background checks and receive comprehensive training in child safety and protection.

  • Upon arrival, you’ll follow the signage to the Children's Ministry check-in area. If you need any help, find a volunteer (the ones wearing the lanyards), and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Because of our commitment to safety, you’ll check in your child using a check-in system. If your child has any special needs or allergies that our team should know, please tell the volunteers at check-in so we can accommodate everyone safely!

During the programming, your child will hear a kid-friendly lesson about the gospel, worship as a group, complete activities that relate to the lesson, and learn a monthly memory verse in a fun and safe environment!

  • Signs will point you to the check-in area, where one of our Children's Ministry volunteers can help! We are committed to safety, so every child must be checked in and out using a check-in system.

At your first visit, you’ll provide some basic family information, including your full name, your child’s full name, their birthday, your contact information, and any special instructions or allergy information. Once you’ve checked in your child, you’ll receive corresponding parent and child stickers, which you’ll use to pick up your child after the worship service.

  • Each Kids environment is supervised by multiple volunteers who have undergone an extensive onboarding process that includes an application, an in-person interview, a background check and, policy training.

All kids' areas are secure, and only parents or guardians, screened ministry volunteers, and screened church staff are allowed in the children’s hallways.

If you have any additional questions regarding the practices or policies surrounding children’s safety, please reach out to the church office.

  • Is there something we didn’t cover that you’d like to know more about? Feel free to contact a Children's Ministry Team Member (You can identify them by their lanyard), or call the church office with any additional questions!
